Seated Chair Exercise Classes

We run seated chair exercise classes at venues around West Berkshire.

Our fun sessions are delivered to popular tunes and show exercises from front and side views with different options to follow according to ability.

They are suitable for:

  • Anyone wanting to be part of a more inclusive and accessible class
  • People who have been sedentary and want to gently ease back into exercise
  • People with underlying health conditions (e.g. arthritis, Parkinson’s, MS, Fibromyalgia, COPD), or living with chronic fatigue as part of another condition. Those in rehabilitation from illness/operations.
  • Wheelchair Users
  • Seniors

We allow an hour for the session, including an intro followed by around 45 minutes of exercise featuring:

  • A warm-up routine
  • Mobilising Exercises
  • Aerobic Exercises
  • Strengthening Exercises
  • Stretch
  • Relaxation/Visualisation
  • Revitaliser
  • Cool down

You can stay afterwards for a complimentary cuppa and biscuit, and to socialise and make new friends.
