On October 10th, in honour of World Mental Health Day, MOVEability instructor and fabulous fundraiser, Debbie Mumford, will be taking to the skies on a paraglider to raise money for our Big Christmas lunch. This isn’t just an adventure; it’s a mission to combat loneliness and bring our community together.
Debbie’s motivation is simple: to make sure our regulars—many of whom live alone and experience social isolation—don’t spend Christmas completely by themselves without any kind of celebration.
In Debbie’s own words: “This Christmas, nobody should feel alone. That’s why I’m raising funds to host a free Christmas dinner for the MOVEability community, a place where so many have found friendship and support.”
Every pound you donate will directly help us cover the costs of this special event, ensuring we can provide a warm, festive, and social meal for those who need it most.
